Ecorobotix Pt 1
From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. Artificial intelligence is getting a lot of talk these days, some scary, some fascinating. And it’s also becoming more common in agriculture.Abbey Flury is a PR manager for Ecorobotix and they are one of the latest high-tech ag companies available for American farmers …
FLURY … “We’re a Swiss-based company, based out of Switzerland, and we came to the United States in 2023. Our primary product is a precision sprayer made with artificial intelligence. We are an AI company, but we also specialize in precision technology.”
And what they do, is nothing short of amazing …
FLURY … “And so, our precision sprayer, it goes to the fields just like any regular sprayer and it rapidly detects what is weeds from crops. And so, you can use herbicides, insecticides, a wide variety of phytosanitary products and fertilizers. And you can reduce these products by up to 95%.”
Flury says Ecorobotix wants to help you save both your dollars AND your soil …
FLURY … “We sure hope that it’s helpful for all of the farmers. That’s our goal, in the end, but actually our biggest goal is to help protect the soils and the biodiversity of the soils. So, by using less chemicals, we can protect the soils for the future generations and future farming.”
