Potato Expo 2026
From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. Folks from the potato industry, growers, packers, processors, shippers, and vendors, gathered in Dallas, Texas last week for the 2026 Potato Expo, put on by the National Potato Council,
CEO Kam Quarles says once again, they got a great turnout …
QUARLES … “We’re over 2,100 attendees. I’m not sure what the final, final count is, but that easily places it as our third largest event that we’ve ever had in the history, so it’s fantastic.”
Besides it being a great trade show, Quarles says their list of speakers was also outstanding …
QUARLES … “A lot of people want to be on those stages. So, they apply to us, we run that through a steering committee of very well-respected growers, and a lot of folks don’t make the cut. The ones that do are the most substantive ones for the industry.”
So, Quarles says start making your plans for next year’s Potato Expo …
QUARLES … “We’re in Denver next year. We’ll be at the Gaylord Rockies facility, very similar to this one. You’ll see a lot of the same amenities that you’ve seen here at the Gaylord Texan. We were there three years ago, so we’re excited to go back to the Gaylord Rockies and we just, we want to keep kind of doubling down on the things that work.”
