Traveling with Food & Wine Part 3

Welcome to Vine to Wine this is your host Linda Moran. You know the vacation season is upon us and yesterday we continued our discussion of traveling with food & wine in mind.
Today whenever we plan a trip or vacation we head straight to the internet to gather information about wherever it is that hope to visit. So I logged into my internet search engine and started perusing websites. Now if you really don not want to travel to Europe remember we have wine country in almost every state of the union now and for just a touch of out of the country flavor you can visit wine country in Canada. In fact I recommend you consider visiting Seattle and the tasting rooms surrounding the metropolitan area. Visit the Woodinville area for sure seek out information at the Woodinville Wine Country website. Then head east of the mountains and visit the Lake Chelan wine region. Seek out information at the Lake Chelan Wine Valley dot come. Follow this by a trip up to the Okanagan in Canada. A nice website for all of the Pacific Northwest is winesnw.com. I like the Okanagan not for the great cuisine but for the scenery and the friendly atmosphere. When I visit the tasting rooms it reminds me of times past as I watched small wine regions grow.
