Welcome to Vine to Wine this is your host Linda Moran and today our program is about Traveling with Food and Wine in mind. Last week I told you about an event taking place the seminars by internationally recognize wine expert Ann Noble at the Wine Experience in Northern Central Washington. Today I thought I would tell you a little more about the Wine Experience. Located between Leavenworth and Wenatchee in the historic town of Cashmere Washington, the Columbia Cascade Winery Association has created a unique Wine Center. The center opened last year in late November and is not only an Information Center, but the center will provide what the association calls a "one-stop doorway" to the wines of North Central Washington. You can get information and maps of the surrounding wine country and enjoy a tasting of nine different wines at the twenty five foot tasting bar. You can also purchase wine and cheese and sit out under the vine covered deck and enjoy the views or cozy up next to the fireplace and enjoy your wine and cheese beside a roaring fire. The facility offers many wine related activities such as winemaker dinners, wine appreciation nights, workshops and tasting sessions. ON your nest trip through northern central Washington be sure to make time for a visit to the Wine Experience. Remember to send your wine questions to Linda at vine to wine dot net and Thank you for joining me on today's Vine to Wine.
