Just because ag technology exists does not make it easy to adopt. Farmers need a plan for leveraging the right types of technology to make them more profitable. That’s exactly what Aaron Magenheim is doing with his consulting company, Growers Insight.

Magenheim… “As we know about farming, it's not something that happens overnight. And technologies that we've been been involved in the tech side, for I myself 10 years, and my partner for at least that many. We've seen what works and what doesn't and you really have to kind of build it into a longer, larger plan and where you're taking your business. It's kind of three-phase process. First step is take the free survey. We help you understand where you're at, where you need to go from a high level. And give you a proposal for us to come in and do the consulting engagement of an agtech audit. Second step is agtech audit. (We) dive through your organization, specialize in a few different areas that we've identified are lower hanging fruit are more needed, and then build you a three to five year roadmap. (We) get everybody on the same page through that audit process. And then third step is kind of implementation and ongoing support as needed. Every grower's in a different situation, but at a minimum, we'll typically meet with them on a quarterly basis and help them stay on track and make sure that they're having success.”
