Job Opportunity with Partners For Western Conservation/Colorado Cattlemen's Association
Fankhauser: “The individual needs to understand irrigated agriculture. They need to understand the administrative structures and the laws around water use in Colorado. They need to have experience with grant writing because many of these projects will require funding. There is funding available through competitive grants at the state and national level. They will coordinate that program for us over the next year. This really being a pilot stage for us — if this works and it makes sense. If that person is of value to members and non-members alike then we will look to continue that program. It is a partnership with the Walton Family Foundation. We appreciate their support in funding and we’re looking for a really good and qualified candidate.”
