Another documentary has taken aim at food - arguing that food companies and their lobbyists have misled consumer for decades - leading to the global obesity epidemic. It compares food conglomerates like Kraft, Coca-Cola and Kellogg to the tobacco companies that lied to consumers about the dangers of smoking. According to the documentary - even the government - including First Lady Michelle Obama - has aided and abetted the problem. The documentary is titled "Fed Up" and it recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

The 2014 Mid-Columbia Ag Hall of Fame was held last night in Pasco, Washington. The Hall of Fame was formed in Year 2000 to recognize and honor distinguished individuals that have made significant contributions to the agricultural community in the Greater Franklin County region and its immediate surrounding areas. Last night's inductees included Bob and Willetta Burns, Kyle Holt, Larry Olberding and Dorothy Schoeppach. Washington State Director of Ag, Bud Hover was the featured speaker.

Now the Census of Ag is about to be unveiled. Rod Bain has more.
