12/22/06 WSU Farm Family Support Network

Washington Ag December 22, 2006 The Motto of the WSU Farm Family Support Network is "Working with Farm Families to Find Solutions" and you don't have to be in trouble to call them plus their consulting services are free and confidential. Peter Rodionoff is the coordinator of this extension program. Rodionoff: "We are knowledgeable in family issues. If there is some stress going on in the family. We help families that are not focused in their decision making process. We have a goal setting process that we go through with the family and follow up on the goals we help set. We'll help on any kind of an issue. We will do financial analysis. Also we will do business plans if they are expanding or diversifying to help them create a roadmap for where they are heading." The WSU Farm Family Support Network consultants serve the entire state of Washington and Rodionoff believes the service is underutilized for what is going on in agriculture today. Rodionoff: "Well they can call me in Wenatchee at the WSU Extension Office or go on our website at www.ffsn.wsu.edu" You can call 1-800-469-2981 or to talk directly to a Spanish speaking consultant call 1-866-791-2293.
