Georgia Agriculture at a Glance
Farmers, agribusiness leaders and agricultural professionals from across the Southeast are invited to the 2026 Georgia Ag Forecast, set for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center. Hosted by the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and UGA Cooperative Extension, this annual seminar delivers timely research and practical insight to support Georgia’s No. 1 industry.The program features a panel with representatives from federal and state government and the state’s producers, followed by the announcement of the 2026 Farmer of the Year and remarks from the Georgia Department of Agriculture. CAES faculty will share the Georgia agricultural economic outlook and a commodity overview, including highlights from the Georgia Ag Impact Report.
