Baker City beef event

Big event coming up at the Baker City Fairgrounds in Baker City, Oregon. It's Saturday and it's called Celebrating American Beef, along with a concert by Nashville artist Mark McKay. Great event being put on by Curtis Martin on Saturday, and I asked him what his role was. Speaker2: I'm just a lifelong Eastern Oregon rancher that is first and foremost dedicated to following our Lord Jesus. And secondly, I am passionate and very enthused about our family farms and ranching operations and how they've been decimated over the past 40 years through manipulated markets and just so many things that have eradicated and eroded the fabric of America, which is our farms and ranches. I've been fighting for it for quite a few years, and just hope that this event is a kind of a catalyst and spark. To make that go further, I'm gonna lead off with Lara Logan, who is an award winning journalist, internationally known CBS 60 minutes correspondent. She'll be speaking on the Importance of America First movement and how that ties in to American beef, and making sure that we can have some policies at the federal level that really are emphasizing and pointed towards building up the family ranching and farming operations.
