MAHA Final Strategy

American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall says the report recognizes the valuable contributions of farmers to the nation’s food supply, and that Farmers and ranchers share the goal of improving health outcomes in America, and they are dedicated to growing safe and nutritious food for America’s families …
DUVALL … “The Make America Healthy Again Commission’s final strategy is now out, and the commission recognized the vital role farmers play in the food supply chain.”
That role, Duvall says can’t be understated …
DUVALL … “It highlighted the importance of fresh fruits, vegetables and meat, along with streamlining regulations and prioritizing voluntary conservation efforts.”

DUVALL … “We appreciate the commission’s willingness to meet with farmers across the country to hear concerns and develop solutions. This can’t be the end of the conversation, however. Farmers must continue to share their stories with national, state and local officials to ensure everyone has a full understanding of the food supply chain.”
