If your summer travel plans include Washington, D.C., here’s something special to put on your radar. The U.S. Department of Agriculture is hosting the Great American Farmers Market on the National Mall from August 3 through 8, running daily from 4 to 8 p.m. Eastern.

U.S. Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins says the market is a chance to celebrate the farmers, ranchers, and producers who keep America fed. And they’re doing it in style—with a weeklong showcase of American agriculture right in the heart of the capital.

Each day, over 50 vendors from 28 states will offer a colorful spread of seasonal produce, artisanal baked goods, farm-fresh dairy, sizzling hot meals, premium meats, and more. It’s a tribute to the creativity and resilience of growers and producers who embody the heart of our agricultural heritage.

Programming themes include everything from goat yoga and cooking demos to worship bands, wildfire education with Smokey Bear, and a Friday movie night featuring Charlotte’s Web. It all kicks off Sunday, August 3 with live music and a patriotic ribbon cutting.
