Janet Fisher, assistant director of Women In Agribusiness, highlights the organization's mission and its impact on the industry.

“Women In Agribusiness is a community of women agribusiness professionals across the country, from the farm to the retail shelf, everybody in between and everyone who supports the industry. Our culminating event every year is the annual summit, where we have three days of content focused on the ag economy and a ton of networking opportunities for about 1,100 women.”

Fisher came to the women in agribusiness organization with a background in the ethanol field industry. In her role, she initially focused on content development for the organization, and have since transitioned into a leadership position driving its mission forward.

“The mission is to highlight women in agribusiness and to empower them and showcase what women in agribusiness are contributing. Because it's not just a matter of getting more women into agribusiness, it's showing that we're here. We're already here. We've got the experts, we've got the expertise, we've got the years of experience. We like you know, we showcase that on our stage. We showcase that at our events, in our audience. That's what we aim to do.”
