California Drops Diesel Truck Ban and USDA Trade Mission in Thailand

The “first-in-the-world” rule, called Advanced Clean Fleets, was adopted last year to phase out the sale of new medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks, including big rigs that transport many agricultural products.
State officials say they will also not pursue another clean trucking rule after Biden’s EPA failed to approve waivers.
