As agriculture technology evolves, one company is leading the way in green elevator accounting integration. Gayle Lewis, president of AgTrax , explains how their Enterprise Resource Plan system works.

“We consider ourselves the owner of the data for the organization, since we handle the majority of the software applications and everything flows through our billing system into our financials. About 13 years ago, we decided that our application was so big in the number of modules and things like that that that we couldn't be the best in every department when there were companies in departments that were solely written for that specific purpose. “

AgTrax has 20 partner companies and Lewis gives an example of how this technology works with a company called Easy Automation Incorporated,

“So for instance, Brady's application was written specifically for feed mills, and they specialize in that we decided, instead of trying to be everything to everybody, that we would specialize in what we did well being the ERP, and then find strategic partners that had the same mindset that we had, that ultimately our goal is to provide a seamless, integrated solution to our end customers”

And their key customers, as mentioned are grain elevators.
