From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. It may still be months away, but it wouldn’t hurt to start polishing your clubs and hitting the driving range to prepare for the Ag World Golf Classic June 6th and 8th in Kennewick and Moses Lake respectively.

Ag World Support Systems’ President and CEO, Bryan Henninger says this year will actually be a milestone event …

HENNINGER … “We, actually, will be hosting our 10th Annual Ag World Golf Classic benefitting the Ronald McDonald House of the Inland Northwest.”

And, Henninger says they’re shooting for the stars this year …

HENNINGER … “You know, we’re excited. We set some lofty goals with our hosts Simplot, Lamb Weston, McCain, Potato Growers of Washington, and Ag World Support Systems. And those goals are to try and cross a million dollars raised over those ten years.”

It won’t be easy, Henninger says, but they’re well on our way …

HENNINGER … “We’re at about $750,000 raised over nine years, so to try and a quarter million dollars this year, it’s lofty, but I think we can do it because the industry really cares and is very generous and very supportive.”

It, Henninger says, means a lot …

HENNINGER … “So many people in the industry that have actually either used the Ronald McDonald House in Spokane, Washington or know of people that have used it. And so, we’re giving back and trying to help our neighbors and our coworkers.”

Tune in tomorrow for more on the 10th Annual Ag World Golf Classic … and support of the Ronald McDonald House in Spokane.
