Let’s meet the Stegelmeiers. We are District 2 state P&E representatives, we live in Ashton, Idaho. We grow barley, wheat, alfalfa and beef. It's important to us to educate people on agriculture and to all the good things about it, because people are just disconnected. They see the world through a computer screen and through big cities. And we want to bring the small town awesome things about a farm to all those people who can't be on the farm. Participating in the farm bureau has benefited us. I think the big reason is the people that we've gotten to meet and the grassroots organization, that it is all the thing that all the things it does do for agriculture, the policies and procedures and. It's the values that we agree with and that we follow too. The greatest thing about our lifestyle is that we can do it together and we spend a lot of time on this farm working day in and day out. Every one of the kids pitches in. And not a lot of people realize that farming isn't just the farmer, it's the family. And we love that about farming. We love that our kids are farming with us and they get to be out in the in the fields and enjoying it just like we are.
