Today kicks off the California Dairy Sustainability Summit. The event, which is happening virtually this year, will feature industry leading speakers highlighting the challenges and opportunities in dairy sustainability.

Here’s Dairy Cares Executive Director, Michael Boccadoro.

Boccadoro… “Yeah, we've got a great lineup of speakers. And I think one of the most important conversations we're going to have is about the role of how methane, cows, and climate interact together. And we have some of the world's leading climate scientists, Dr. Myles Allen from University of Oxford, Dr. Frank Mitloehner from UC Davis, and Dr. Ermias Kebreab, also from the University of California here in the great state.”

If dairy sustainability is important to you, make sure you register right away. The virtual event is today and tomorrow only.

Boccadoro… “To see the agenda and to register, visit www.cadairysummit.com, and registration is just $25 for dairy farmers and all of our participating organizations are sponsoring their farmer members for participation.”

Also speaking is CDFA Secretary Karen Ross, dairy farmer Justin Gioletti, and others. That website again is cadairysummit.com.
