Agri Beef Proud To Be Part of Cowboy Star's Wagyu Jerky Program
Over the course of the Kickstarter campaign, nearly 700 backers from more than 10 different countries contributed to make the Cowboy Star Provisions Premium Wagyu Beef Jerky launch a huge success. Now, the team at Cowboy Star turns its attention to the next phase in the process, with the first wave of orders on track to be fulfilled in December, 2018.
"When we saw the incredible response to our Wagyu Beef Jerky on Kickstarter, we were totally blown away," said Jon Weber, co-founder of Cowboy Star Restaurant and Butcher Shop. "We are so grateful to all of our backers. It is a great feeling to not only have reached our goal, but to have exceeded it and it really validates what we've believed all along, that this is a special product that has a place in this market category."
In addition to its Premium Wagyu Beef Jerky, Cowboy Star Provisions says plans are already underway to add to its product offering, with new flavor combinations being developed and tested for release in 2019. The new line will be based on some of the favorite "steakhouse" flavors guests enjoy at Cowboy Star Restaurant and Butcher Shop.
A partnership with an iconic San Diego-based craft brewery is also in the works for 2019, with plans to launch a beer flavored version of their premium jerky.
