Many lemon growers are alarmed at what they say is a rush job by USDA to allow lemons from Argentina into the US. Lemons are extremely susceptible to diseases and growers are worried Argentine lemons may spread pests like citrus black spot. Finally, Beef Check Off Reform legislation: Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Cory Booker, D-N.J., have introduced two bills that would change a number of ways that commodity check-off programs operate.
