AniCell Biotech Receives Innovation Grant

AniCell Biotech is a relatively new company that has exciting regenerative products to treat both equine and canine ligament damages and hard-to-heal superficial wounds as well as eye wounds. Recently this biotech company was selected to receive a grant. AniCell Biotech President and CEO Brandon Ames shares more
Ames: “The Arizona Commerce Authority holds what they call the Arizona Innovation Challenge twice a year. This year there were 90-some applicants. We applied — it is based on emerging businesses in this space — we were chosen and were one of six for a $250,000 that goes to each one of us.”
I asked Ames why he thinks his company was selected for this grant.
Ames: “I think it has to do with the science that we are working on here at Anicell as a biotech company. We are preserving the active life of animals and its continuing to grow and get stronger. We’re right now sporting about a 80.33 percent efficiency rate on 700 treatments.”
Ames continues with the plans for the grant money.
Ames: “We’re going to use the vast majority of those funds in clinical trials and some clinical science on our AlloMotion product line as well as using it for sales and marketing and continue to get the word out there.”
