This is Susan Allen with the Market Line Report for March 24th. We are looking for more demand in the grains markets, as we make our way past the half way point this week. Gary Kozlowski explains more from the floor of the CME in Chicago.

Chicago May Wheat ended the day dn 3 ¾, at 463 ¾. May corn ended the day dn 1 ½, at 369. Portland prices for soft white wheat of 10 ½ % protein for March were dn 3 ¾, ranging from 5-33 to 5-38. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for March were dn 4 ½, ranging from 5-42 ¼ to 5-52 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were dn 2 ¾, ranging from 6-02 to 6-12 even. April Live Cattle closed yesterday dn 97 ½ cents, at 135.07 ½. March Feeder cattle were dn 15 cents, at 161.37 ½. March class III milk was dn 5 cents, at 13-77.
