I Am the USPB!

The US Potato Update will soon be featuring new programming with highlights about the growers serving on the United States Potato Board as board members. Be sure and listen to the U.S. Potato Update in the coming weeks and months to learn about the men and women who represent the industry’s interests on the USPB.
USPB Manager of Industry Communications and Policy David Fairbourn shares more
Fairbourn: “The basic premise for the series is this: One of the best ways for the potato industry to learn about the role and mission of the USPB is to meet our most valuable assets — the growers from all across the United States who serve on this board. USPB members will have the opportunity to give a brief introduction, talk about where they farm and discuss potato production. They can also talk about their experiences serving on the USPB and tell about what it means to represent their state and potato production regions on this national marketing organization. I think this “I am the USPB” programming will be well received. This presents a good opportunity for USPB’s grower-leaders to relate with the entire potato industry and to develop good will and unity while also encouraging communication, participation and involvement with the state and national potato organizations.”
