Winner of Guilt-Free Potato Goodness Recipe Contest Announced

The United States Potato Board’s Facebook page held a Guilt-Free Potato Goodness recipe contest and invited potato fans to submit either original mouth-watering and guilt-free potato recipes. From the 230 recipe entries, USPB partner Hungry Girl or Lisa Lillien selected the grand prize winner. Meredith Myers, USPB Public Relations Manager, gives details on the winning recipe.
Myers: “The winner was Linda Hall of Evanston, Illinois, for her winning recipe of “Nacho Usual Breakfast”. It featured slices baked Russet potatoes, topped with scrambled eggs, chopped spinach, reduced-fat cheddar cheese and salsa on top for a really a unique spin on a morning meal.”
Myers shares more about Grand Prize Hall won.
Myers: “She was super excited to be chosen. She took a trip out to Hungryland — just the last week in June. She had a great time and now she has a new pal in Lisa Lillien and vice versa. So it was a great trip down to the headquarters in Los Angeles.”
