USPB's Face Book Page Turns to Nurturing Season

With the new year, comes resolutions and goals as well as a bit of a slow down following the busy holiday season and the United States Potato Board's Facebook page theme represents that shift as USPB Public Relations Manager Meredith Myers explains

Myers: "This is now the season that the United States Potato Board calls the Nurture Me season. It's the season that Linda -- our target audience -- is getting back on a personal track, if you will, she is getting back to home, and looking at herself and setting goals and resolutions for the year but she is also trying to enjoy her family more. Also the whole nurture part is also part of getting back with the family and enjoying a quieter -- albeit a colder - season."

Myers encourages you to be looking on their Facebook page, Potatoes, Taters and Spuds for great new recipes ideas as well

Myers: "We are continuing our great partnership with Hungry Girl Lisa Lillian and we're working together to remind consumers that in this post holiday-haze it is important to remember that eating healthfully doesn't have to be full of rules and lacking in fun. So the trick to nurturing the new you is finding smart cooking solutions that offer healthy takes on everyday favorites."
