The National Farmers Union and U.S. Cattlemen’s Association have released a legal analysis detailing available options for successful U.S. compliance of a recent World Trade Organization ruling on Country-of-Origin Labeling. The analysis demonstrates how USDA can come into compliance with the WTO appellate body ruling by amending the COOL regulations.

The theft of truck tailgates is on the rise. Thieves find it easy to lift the gates and replacement costs can be costly. Ford and Chevy trucks top the list of most stolen tailgates. The easiest protection is to keep that tailgate locked and it’s not a bad idea to have the VIN number etched on the gate.

Risk Management Agency Acting Administrator Brandon Willis says the crop insurance industry needs to do a more aggressive job of convincing the American public that crop insurance is a wise public investment. He says the public needs to appreciate it since it ensures most of the food Americans consume continues to be produced domestically and the food export industry prospers.
