You can’t imagine how good it feels to have written our last college tuition check! I’m grateful for the scholarships both boys were awarded during their pursuit of degrees, so  that when I hear of opportunities within the ag and equine  industry for other college kids, I feel compelled to pass them on.  I’m Susan Allen, After the break  I’ll be back with information on the nine thousand dollars available from Certified  Angus Beef LLC through the Colvin  Scholarship . When I was looking over last years recipients of the Certified Angus Beef LLC through the Colvin  Scholarship Fund, being the mother of boys I  was a little annoyed to see that all $9000 went to five  females ...and even worse..  not a one of them was from the West. What’s up with that?  Anyway, the deadline for   this years Certified Angus Beef awards must be postmarked November 16. So get busy! Money and amazing internship opportunities will be  awarded to five college juniors and seniors with a passion for the beef industry.  What a  year to apply because the top two recipients will win an all expense paid trip for the to the 2010 Certified Angus Beef ® Annual Conference, September 30 - October 2, 2010 in Puerto Rico.  So if you know of an exceptional college junior or senior with a love  for the beef industry, ( there must be many deserving western students.) contact Trudi Hoyle at 800-225-2333 or  visit www.certifiedangusbeef.com
