Bad news for America’s ranchers courtesy of the Obama Administration.  I’m Susan Allen stay tuned, on today’s “Open Range” edition  of the American Rancher for the story. Didn’t vote ...don’t think its counts! Ha...This administration forever puts that that logic to rest.  The czars, czarina’s and appointees Obama pulls from his magic hat stand to impact us out West for generations. Cass Sunstien the nominee for the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs wants to make cattle producers an endangered species. The radical animal-rights activist whose public distain for meat eaters,  would use  the federal endangered species act as his wizard’s wand  to put ranchers out of business by dramatically increasing the number of  plants and  animals listed . Unlike trickle down economics, cattlemen would  quickly feel the brunt of Sunstiens decisions due to the fact a  vast majority of species on the endangered  list reside on farmers and rancher's lands. Reflect for a moment how the California ag community has suffered at the hands of environmentalist who have sued to divert water from farmers to save a bait fish. A researcher  for Consumer Freedom recently asked Glenn Beck on Fox News to imagine if activist groups didn’t have to sue ,but could just pick up the phone and call their buddy? Sunstien’s  abhorrence  toward those of us who enjoy a good steak should shake ranchers to their core .  Mr. Sunstien needs  go the way of the green czar, but that’s just my opinion on today’s  Open Range edition  of the American rancher. I’m Susan Allen
