Welcome to Vine to Wine this is your host Linda Moran and today we are answering questions from the email. A listener writes "While traveling in San Francisco I found a Washington wine that I really liked and I cannot remember the name of it. The person answering the phone at the restaurant seems clueless. Do you have any suggestions?" Finding a wine that you enjoy while you are traveling is such a treat. I am assuming you wrote it down and it got lost otherwise - shame on you! However, do not dismay, give a call back to the restaurant and ask to speak to the person responsible for the wine list. I am surprised that wasn't given to you as an option when you made your first inquiry. Nevertheless, don't give up. Asking for the right person will move you closer to finding an answer. When you do make contact, let that person know everything that you can remember about the wine, even the night you were in the restaurant. You will most likely have your answer quickly. In the future, take a card from the restaurant and write the name of the wine on the back. That way you have the restaurant and the wine information tucked safely away for future reference. In addition, most of all thank you for drinking Washington wine while you were in California! Remember to send your wine questions to Linda at vine to wine dot net and thank you for joining me on today's Vine to Wine.
