There proof that something good can be made from even the most unwanted materials, I'm Jeff Keane and I'll be back with more on "the renewable resource", Horse Manure. If you own a little bit of land and few horses chances are you've got piles of energy just lying around in your pasture and barn, here's Becky with more on the heat of this story.
Yes, you heard him right; horse manure is no longer a nuisance by-product of horse ownership. Researchers are finding you can not only rid your self of that unsightly heap of smelly, fly attracting horse manure. But, you could actually heat your home, shop, or barn with the pile as well as unwanted weeds, brush or other bio mass material lurking around your property.
I guess this really does make horses efficient hay burners.
That's certainly one way to put it. Most small and large property owners have heard of the value of composting yard debris, spoiled fruits and vegetable and nutrient rich horse manure. And, through the simple process of the bio materials breaking down an exceptional amount of clean heat is created all while reducing your unwanted waste. Can't get much better than that right? Several researchers are working on simple user-friendly burning units. My warmest wishes are they'll be coming to a store near all of us in the future.
I guarantee you one thing for sure Becky, they certainly won't run out of available materials for testing any time soon. I'm Jeff Keane
