New products, new ideas and a little friendly competition are headed to California this fall as Monterey hosts the North American Blueberry Council's annual Blueberry Convention.

The event, scheduled for September 22nd through the 25th, will showcase the latest trends and innovations shaping the blueberry industry.

One of this year's highlights is the Blueberry Boost Accelerator Live Pitch Competition. The Shark Tank-style event features four entrepreneurs pitching innovative blueberry products before a panel of expert judges. The competition is part of the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council's Blueberry Boost Accelerator program, designed to help move new products toward commercialization.

Attendees will also enjoy Blueberry Night at the Aquarium, an evening at the Monterey Bay Aquarium featuring chef-curated food, coastal views and after-hours access to exhibits while connecting with others from across the industry.

Registration is now open, with early registration pricing available through August 18th. Find more information at https://nabc.blueberry.org/events/the-blueberry-convention-2026/
