Drone Dogs
Talk about science fiction? That’s exactly what we’re going to do next!! DS…Dogs have been used on farms for centuries to protect property and agriculture. Now, AI and robotics are not just helping farms with tasks like planting, spraying, and monitoring crops, AI-powered robotic dogs are also taking on the job of security.
The Asylon web site states… DroneDog™ is the most advanced ground robotic security solution-built to handle the dull, dirty, and dangerous work–so your team can focus on what matters most. Experience the best security robot on four legs, unleashed. One of Bayer Crop Science’s facilities in Hawaii includes 8,000 acres of property and is responsible for 90 percent of the global supply of corn seed. Labor shortages made it challenging to find cost-effective and reliable security for after-hours, so Bayer turned to DroneDog by Asylon. As DroneDog patrols the Bayer facility kitted out with cameras, thermal sensors, and other tech, in real-time, trained operators in Asylon’s 24/7 Robotic Security Operations Center report safety and security events to either the on-site security team or the Bayer Hawaii Security Operations Center (HSOC). These reported security events range from nearby forest fires to wild boar damaging the property after hours.
