Founded in 2016 in northwest Washington, Cairnspring Mills is part of a growing movement of regenerative agriculture companies in their case focused on flour. Kevin Morse, Co-Founder and CEO, says their approach focuses on practical, gradual improvements to support farmers in achieving their goals.

Morse… “ Our goal is to help them reduce inputs, improve soil health, increase productivity and quality over time. So we're really meeting the farmer where they are. I believe in progress over perfection and, at the scale we're working at, it gives us the ability to bring them along. As you know, farmers don't have a lot of time and resources to try new, different things every year. We're trying to remove some of those barriers by providing them with the resources to be helped.”

Morse highlights the growing momentum and support for regenerative agriculture in today’s market.

Morse… “ In this crowdfunding, regenerative food is—we're out-competing tech hype and AI companies, which is, it's nice to see. I think the time is right, so if other people are thinking about trying this in another farming community, the timing's right, and there's investors out there that wanna support this.”
