WSTFA Annual Meeting
From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson and this is today’s Fruit Grower Report. If you haven’t started making your plans to attend the Washington State Tree Fruit Association Annual Meeting and Hort Show, the December 8-10 event will be here before you know it.This year’s Chair of the WSTFA Event, Ryan Peebles, Export Sales Manager at Chelan Fresh, says it’s always a great time to share …
PEEBLES … “Looking back over the years, it’s a great time, especially in the days of technology as we’re experiencing here, where people that are doing similar things can get together and spend time together and enjoy each other’s company, but also get a little bit of an understanding of what their neighbors are doing even if their neighbors might be a couple of hundred miles away.”
With all of today’s challenges, Peebles says it’s also a great place to learn ...
PEEBLES … “Find out how they’re working through different things and learning and hearing similar conversations and stories and information from the speakers of the 121st Annual Event.”
And the speakers, Peebles says bring a lot to the table …
PEEBLES … “Monday is full of some major speakers and the sessions throughout the day is really sort of the opening of the year. And you get to hear from the leaders of the apple industry, and the pear industry, and cherries.”
