Ending Feed Guesswork

For livestock producers and feed mill operators, managing feed inventory often relies on estimates and last-minute decisions. CEO Ben Allen says at BinSentry, they’re aiming to remove the guesswork out of feed management to help farmers better forecast demand and reduce waste.
Allen... "Animal feed is one of the biggest supply chains on the planet. And when you can give customers and animal feed supply chain participants visibility into the consumption out at the sites, it's a huge improvement over their daily life when they're otherwise waiting for somebody from the field to call in with their best estimate or their best guess about what's going on. So you allow a supply chain to move from a reactive model to a proactive model where they can see everything that's going on."
Allen said this added clarity leads to more efficiency across the industry.
Allen... "Anytime you can see what's going on out in the field with clarity, and trust it, which you can with our technology, our customers have a high degree of trust in our technology, then you can be more efficient, you can be more timely, you can be more dialed in. And agriculture is a business of high quality operators. And if you give them better data, they can be even better operators."
Once again, that’s Ben Allen with BinSentry.
