American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall says it’s time to stop kicking this can down the road because year-round E15 sales would fuel the economy …
DUVALL … “Biofuels are a leading example of how innovation and farm-grown dedication can fuel success. E15 fuel gives consumers an affordable option at the pump, with an average cost savings of 10-30 cents per gallon.”
Biofuels, Duvall says are also helping protect the air that we breathe …
DUVALL … “To put it in context, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from using biofuels was equal to taking 30 million cars off the road in 2022 alone.”
E15 sales, Duvall says should not be limited to just certain times of the year …
DUVALL … “This summer Americans have enjoyed the benefits of E15 gasoline thanks to a waiver from the EPA.
Now it’s time for Congress to keep fueling American-grown biofuels, year-round. This would be a practical, bipartisan step to support farmers and to bring economic relief to families across the country.”
