Statewide Monitoring

Statewide, ISDA’s quagga mussel monitoring program is in full swing. Building on last year’s record efforts (over 3,500 samples collected) more than 2,500 samples have already been collected this year. Our team continues to use tools including plankton tow and eDNA sampling to support early detection and rapid response.
