The National Peanut Board is working to spread compassion alongside awareness when it comes to peanut allergies.

With input from their Registered Dietitian Markita Lewis, NPB recently rolled out a video series answering common questions about peanut allergies—what they are, how they’re diagnosed, and how families can navigate them safely.

The short clips also highlight research-backed strategies to prevent peanut allergies, including the importance of introducing peanuts early to infants, as recommended by leading health organizations.

This campaign, which launched during Food Allergy Awareness Week, is a shift toward making complex information more accessible. And early numbers show it’s resonating. More than 5,000 views and growing, across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

The goal? To bring empathy into a topic that often feels overwhelming—especially for families. And to make sure accurate, science-based guidance is easy to find and easy to understand.

For peanut growers across the Southeast, this is another way the National Peanut Board is looking out for the future of the industry.
