Attention blueberry industry members! The U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) is seeking nominees for key positions on the council, with opportunities available for both importers and state producers.

For importers, nominations are open for USHBC Importer #2, #3, and #4 member and alternate positions, with a three-year term beginning January 1, 2026. Interested candidates must submit their USHBC Importer Nominee Application by April 18. Final selections will be made later this year and recommended to the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture for appointment.

On the state side, eight positions are open for growers producing at least 2,000 pounds of highbush blueberries between 2022 and 2024. That does include state-specific nominations here in the Golden State.

This is your chance to help shape the future of the blueberry industry! For more information, visit ushbc.blueberry.org or email elections@blueberry.org.
