09/04/06 Evergreen Angus sale and youth judging

Washington Ag September 4, 2006 The Evergreen Exclusive Angus Sale is scheduled for 12:30 pm  October 14th at the TRAC facility in Pasco, Washington. Sponsored by the Washington Angus Association, this sale will feature open and bred Angus females consigned by the Northwest's leading Angus breeders plus a good selection of club calves. Of particular interest to juniors and area youth will be the availability of open heifer show prospects and project steers. Thirty-one open Angus heifer calves are consigned. Approximately 40 head of project steers will also be available at this event. These will be Angus and Angus crossbred steers, suitable for both Spring and Fall of 2007 shows. In conjunction with the sale will be the 1st Annual Evergreen Exclusive Youth Judging Contest during which four classes of livestock will be judged.
