From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. If you’re planning on attending the Potato Expo in Austin, Texas, in early January, and haven’t yet registered, there is a fast-approaching deadline you should be aware of …
ALEXANDER … “We have a deadline coming up on Friday, December 15th. There will be a bump up in registration fees for the Expo.”
And for this year’s Expo, National Potato Council Vice
President of Industry Relations and Events, Hollee Alexander says things are really coming together …
ALEXANDER … “We’re really excited about the show this year. It’s the second time we’ve been in Austin. We have a record-breaking number of exhibitors and space that we have, filling up over 100,000 square feet in our exhibit hall. So it’s a great opportunity, like always, to get together at the start of the New Year and this year it’s going to be even bigger and better than previous years.”
Alexander says it will be much like the last Potato Expo in Austin, only bigger …
ALEXANDER … “We have another 20,000 square feet that we are using in the neighboring exhibit hall so that’s really exciting. The growth and the difference and we’re in four hotels. Our main hotel is the Hilton Austin and then we have three other hotels that are right around the Convention Center.”
