Navigating High Fertilizer Prices and Low Water Availability

Certified PCA and Crop Advisor with Precision Laboratories Michael Terry joins us to talk about how to navigate low water supply and high fertilizer costs this year.

Terry says the biggest obstacles this year…

“Cost of everything. Inflation has gone skyrocket, fuel costs, fertilizer cost… and also availability.”

And how to handle the resources you have…

“The biggest suggestion would have is obviously managing those vital resources like your water also, those expensive inputs like your fertilizer in your in your pesticide applications… Those are probably the instant hits you feel, is the cost of your fertilizer… if you want to manage your water you manage your fertilizer… where you can make those last longer in the root zone and give those plants more opportunity to take those up and make better off sources of them.”
