05/10/06 VanityFair Goes Green

The uber liberal Vanity Fair magazine's May Green Issue is at the news stands. With editor Graydon Carter at its helm the mag, which used to be a fashionista publication has become nothing more than Graydon's myopic thesis into the state of American politics. Mays cover featuring notable global warming experts, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, (what university did she attend?) Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Al Gore, stated in bold headlines that that global warming is a threat "graver than terrorism". Now if a conservative made such an outlandish statement they would have been devoured by the media. To compare global warming to the recent bombings in Israel, the ravages occurring in the Sudan, (where by the way George Clooney made darn sure his participation at the DC Sudan awareness march was top news) or 9/11 is simply crass So we show unified disgust by refusing to buy their magazine ,books and movies and bull.
