This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. China continues to drive grain prices, while corn steps into the driver’s seat leading the grain market. Let’s go to Scott Shellady with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day dn 11 ¼, to finish at 647. March Corn was up ½ to close at 534 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were dn 10 ¾, to settle at 626.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were up 3 to Unch, to settle at 7-30. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for March was up 30 to Unch, ranging from 7-00 to 7-20. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for March were dn 10 ¾ to dn 35 ¾, ranging from 7-56 to 7-66. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April dn 12 ¾, ranging from 7-33 ¾ to 7-58 ¾.

Live Cattle for April were up $.07 ½, closing at 122.70. March Feeder cattle were dn $.27 ½, to finish the day at 139.80. March Class III milk was up $.07, at 16.72.
