Homemade goat milk soap from the Western Slope, high-end leather products, and direct to consumer cuts from Rock River Bison are among the hundreds of Colorado-grown and produced gifts available from Colorado’s Food and Agriculture Gift Guide.

And with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, online shopping is an important option for gift-givers and producers.

“ It’s a great way to get your products out there. For people looking for something more specific, in the newsletter, you can click on the local holiday gift guide link. It’s also on the Colorado Department of Ag website. You can put in your submission and we’ll get that up there so folks can find you. “

Danielle Trotta is a Business Development Specialist with the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

The 2020 Holiday Gift Guide is arranged by categories including; Fruits and Vegetables, Beverages, Condiments, Gift Baskets, Confections, Meat and Poultries and Fish and Corporate Gifts.

“It is up and running. And if people are looking for local products, all they have to do is google Colorado local food gifts or ag gifts and this list will pop up. “Shopping online is always a good way to stay home and stay safe and still be able to get those really neat gifts. This is a great way to do that.”

With many winter holiday markets closed because of COVID, the Food and Agriculture Gift Guide is serving as an online farmers market. Most of the products can be shipped to friends and loved ones out of state. Colorodo.gov for the complete list.
