For all the controversy that surrounds the Monsanto name, they fail to get much, if any credit for the positive impact they have had improving the food we eat. Today I want to applaud the company for it's recent advances with soy beans. Monsanto has revolutionized the simple soy bean by developing a new soy bean the call Vistive. Vistive is set to make our lives healthier. Through conventional breeding the Vistive soy bean has been bred to reduce, or in some cases eliminate trans- fatty acids or trans fat. The Kellogg's corporation is buying up all the Vistive they can get their hands on and has increased such a demand that farmers can't keep up. Kellogg's officials say it will transform their product line meaning you and will soon be munching on Cheez-its and pop tarts that taste like we love um, but with out the artery-clogging fats.
