Fall Harvest Closing
This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for Nov. 4th, 2016. Soybeans leading the grain commodities, producers eagerly awaiting the crop report coming out next week. Here's Scott Shellady from the floor of the CME in Chicago.Chicago May Wheat prices closed yesterday dn 4 at 446. May corn ended the day up 1 ¼, at 36 ¾. Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for March ended the day dn 4 ¾ ranging from 4.69 ¾ -4.94 ¾. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for March were dn , ranging 4 ¾ from 5.03 ½ -5.18 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were up 3 ¼ ranging from 6.27 ½ -6.32 ½.
April Live Cattle were dn $1.02 ½, at 105.25. March Feeder cattle were dn $1.97 ½ at 116.05. Jan. class III milk was up 12 cents at 15-95.
