CO Corn Administrative Committee Hosts Research Project Tour

At the end of this month, there is an opportunity for corn growers to learn how their penny per bushel is being used in research projects. CO Corn Communications Director Eric Brown shares more details on the first tour

Brown: "One of those is set for August 24th in Fort Collins beginning at 5 p.m. starting at the new CoBank Center for Ag Education on the east side of Fort Collins. From there we will be trekking across the Colorado State University Agricultural Research Development and Education Center — commonly known as ARDEC. So August 24th in Fort Collins and then we are still waiting on more details on when and exactly where but another one on October 5th in the Wray area to tour some research projects out in the in that area."

Brown encourages producers to attend

Brown: "Its open to anybody — certainly farmers whose money we are putting to use. Anyone who is interested. Any one from legislate offices — legislative staff or lawmakers themselves that wants to come out and see what we are doing for the industry. You are certainly welcome to come. Dinner is on us."

Brown requests anyone interested in attending the August 24th event to RSVP so they have an accurate dinner count by contacting the Colorado Corn office by August 17th.

As the October date draws closer, more details will be shared on that event in the Wray area.
