Zen Honeycutt, Director of Moms Across America has made a pretty strong claim saying that glyphosate has been found throughout the nation in our tap water, children's urine, breast milk, in cereal, cotton products, beer, and wine. "When you connect with all the scientific studies that show, wow, it destroys gut bacteria and gut bacteria is where 70% of the immune system lies. So, when you are systematically destroying, especially a child's immune system, who are more susceptible, it doesn't take a scientific study to put two and two together." Why am I bringing this up again? Because yesterday, A Congressional Briefing on the harmful impacts of glyphosate on health, the climate crisis, and Zika virus, along with the necessary actions to protect humans, animals and the environment took place at Cannon House Office Building. We will update you as to what happened during those proceedings.

A recall petition filed against Harney County judge Steve Grasty has been validated, according to the Oregon Secretary of State's Office. Grasty Has decided to fight the recall even though he is retiring this year. He has been asked to submit a "statement of justification" that would be printed on the recall election ballot, according to a letter notifying him of the petition's result. Grasty had been adamant that Ammon Bundy and his supporters leave Harney County after they took over the refuge outside of Burns on Jan. 2 to protest federal land-use policies and the imprisonment of local ranchers Dwight Hammond Jr. and his son, Steven Hammond.
