CCALT Annual BBQ Will Be June 25th at The Bluffs

Later this month will be the 11th annual Forever Colorado BBQ sponsored by the Colorado Cattlemen's Agricultural Land Trust. The proceeds will be used to conserve working ranches throughout the state and preserve Colorado's unique western heritage.

Deputy Director — External Relations Alyssa Street shares more details

Street: "We are very excited this year to have the BBQ near Byer, Colorado, which is about an hour east of Denver at the Bluff. It will be June 25, Saturday and will begin at 5 p.m. and hopefully go till sunset — around 9 p.m."

Street continues with what the evening's activities will be

Street: "We are very excited to have cocktails, dinner, live and silent auction and live music by a local band called the Bird Dogs. If folks want to come early, we are having a free ranch tour that will be starting at 3 o'clock."

Even if you can't attend the event, you can still support the event and the cause.

Street: "If you can't make it you can participate by going to biddingforgood.com/ccalt and you can participate absentee on our silent auction. Also the tickets are $150 per person."

You can go to ccalt.org or call the office for additional information or purchase BBQ tickets.
